How I work

Since childhood, I have been fascinated by automation, robotics, and the idea that good engineering can improve the way people live and work. That curiosity grew into a career spanning embedded software, developer tooling, agile delivery, and product design—with particularly formative chapters at ASML and Lightyear in the Netherlands.

Today, I bring that same energy into business automation and AI: understand the real bottleneck, design the right workflow, and deliver something that feels simple, solid, and genuinely valuable in daily operations.

What I bring to a project

Engineering depth

My path has taken me through embedded systems, Python tooling, C/C++, reporting platforms, DevOps, and product delivery in demanding technical environments.

Business-first automation

What drives me most is turning repetitive, messy work into clear systems that save time, reduce friction, and create real value for the people using them.

Flexible delivery

I often work independently with founders and small businesses, and I can also plug into existing teams when a project benefits from closer collaboration.

A short career journey

May 2024 – Today · nearly 2 years

Founder & Automation Architect · Aleutheris

I help businesses simplify operations with automation and AI while building products end to end—from understanding the bottleneck to designing workflows and delivering practical, usable systems.

Apr 2023 – May 2024 · 1 year

DevOps Engineer & Agile Coach · Akkodis / ASML

I built Python tooling that supported ASML's migration from ClearCase to GitHub and contributed to stronger agile ways of working across internal solution teams.

Sep 2021 – Feb 2023 · 1.5 years

Embedded Software Engineer · Lightyear

At Lightyear, I worked on drive-by-wire and exterior vehicle systems for the Lightyear 0, using C, STM32, RTOS, CAN, and close collaboration with controls and product teams.

Feb 2017 – Aug 2021 · 4.5 years

Software Design Engineer · ASML

At ASML, I developed Python calibration tooling and C++ reporting components for TWINSCAN systems, including work that helped deliver a 10x faster alignment-sensor reporting flow.

2011 – 2017 · Portugal

Consulting, data engineering, and teaching

Earlier in my career, I worked across ETL and big-data systems, software engineering, and university teaching support—building the analytical and communication base I still bring to projects today.

What matters most to me

I believe technology should create meaningful impact in the world. That means reducing friction, making work more human, and helping people focus on what truly matters instead of getting buried in manual processes.

Beyond work

Outside of client work, I enjoy staying in shape, playing football, thinking about entrepreneurship, and exploring ideas around space engineering and robotics. They all connect back to the same motivation: keep learning, keep building, and keep aiming for work that matters.
